Alexandria Bay is the heart of the 1000 Islands, with it’s wonderful view and access to Boldt Castle on Heart Island. You will find more to do in and around Alexandria Bay than anywhere else in the 1000 Island Region.

Alexandria Bay’s public boat launches are free.  Special parking areas are available for vehicles with trailers at the municipal building, just a few blocks walk from the boat launches. A-Bay, or Alex Bay as the locals call it, is home to the Islander, as well as a number of other wrecks.

The Islander is a great shore dive, complete with parking and a pavilion for divers. The wreck has a max depth of 45 feet but there are many other underwater attractions at the site that can take you to 80 feet and beyond.

Are downstream from Vansittart Point on the south side of Grenadier Island and are nice snorkle dives to follow the nearby Keystorm. 273 Sister Island Shoal Wreck Work Barge Wreck on Sister Island Shoal near Red bouy #178. Name unknown.  GPS of 44N24.09 75W51.00 describes Lone Bros. Island and shoal. 299 Kinghorn Located directly in front of the Customs Office and Marina in Rockport.
